Amish studied dentistry at Guys King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He graduated with a Distinction and Honours in 2008. In his time there, he received multiple Certificates of Excellence and a Poster Presentation Award.
From an early stage in his career, he developed an interest in dental implants. He was taught and mentored by some of the most prestigious implantologists in the world. He has been placing dental implants since 2011 and formalised his training by acquiring the coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He now lectures for the BioHorizons [UK] Implant Company and mentors dentists who are starting to perform implant treatments. He has also been interviewed regarding his success in implant dentistry for an article that was published in Dentistry magazine.
In addition to implants, Amish also has a keen interest in aligning teeth using the Invisalign system and in cosmetic dentistry. He has completed an Advanced Certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry that has enabled him to deliver fantastic results to his patients.
He has a passion for teaching and was formerly a Foundation Dentist Trainer. He held this post with Health Education England until 2017 and was also involved in national recruitment of trainees and lecturing on study days at the time.
To assist him with his teaching endeavours, he has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education.
